About Perissos Vineyard and Winery

We are located in Burnet, Texas, approximately 65 miles northwest of Austin, Texas. Our beautiful estate property is nestled within Hoover’s Valley, in the Texas Hill Country AVA. We chose this location because of its unique soil composition, decomposed granite gravel. Our terroir allows us to grow and produce wines of great character and extremely high quality. At Perissos, we live by a “”farming first”” mentality. Meaning, we make wine in the vineyard. We planted our first vines on the property in 2005, and the tasting room officially opened in 2009.

We invite you to visit and take in the breathtaking views of our 16 acre Estate Vineyard, and the rolling hills that surround us. What Makes Perissos Vineyard and Winery Unique

We make wine with 100% Texas grown grapes.

With 16 acres of Estate Vines, the bulk of our wine program is Estate grown.

We farm and produce wine utilizing sustainable techniques such as fertilizing with compost and compost teas in the vineyard, and recycling rainwater with our 65,000 gallon rainwater collection tank.

Our decomposed granite gravel soils are unique, and we believe they are the perfect soils to cultivate wine grapes.
