About Flat Creek Estate Vineyard
In 1963, before Flat Creek Estate was Flat Creek Estate, the Koontz family used the land to graze cattle. Thirty-five years later, Rick and Madelyn Naber purchased the premier 80-acre Hill Country property with the promise to keep use of the land agricultural. With this promise in mind, a passion for wine, and a little help from some local wineries, Flat Creek Estate Winery and Vineyard was born. Since then, the Flat Creek slogan, “Producing Quality Texas Wines” has remained a guiding light in the day-to-day operations of Flat Creek Estate. However, amongst immense growth, a new slogan has taken shape – “Producing Quality Texas Wines & Unique Hill Country Experiences”. Today, Flat Creek not only provides quality Texas wines, but a multitude of experiences that cater to a large variety of guests. The unique experience they can provide to each individual allows Flat Creek to stand out in the continuously growing industry. Foodies delight in the mini-tasting & tour coupled with a three-course paired wine meal in the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The Disc Golf community loves the Wine & Disc option – they’re entertained all day on the newly added championship level 18-hole disc golf course. Special black glass tastings, blending seminars, and wine history lessons are popular monthly events. And you can’t forget the annual Crawfish Boil, Thanksgiving Shopping Spree, or Cigar Rolling events, which continue to grow each year! The Flat Creek organization also includes Flat Creek Enoteca, a wine bar in nearby Marble Falls – a premier meeting place for wine enthusiasts visiting the area. Owners Rick & Madelyn Naber have been the driving force in creating a special place in the Texas Hill Country. Their willingness to incorporate out-of-the-box ideas makes Flat Creek a unique, exciting experience for everyone, including the staff. Friendly wine professionals are there to shape each guest experience and are excited to work at a place where every day and every year is a new adventure and challenge and there is always a project to sink your teeth into! Come be a part of the adventure at Flat Creek in Marble Falls!
