Indulge in a Romantic Getaway or Intimate Outing with Friends

If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, attend the 2018 Wine Lovers Celebration. This event featuring 45 Texas Hill Country Wineries combines the best of all worlds, offering 17 days to sample wines throughout the region while enjoying both wine and sweets. This limited event sells out every year, so reserve your spot today. The wineries will be open at different times, and they’ll keep the festivities going from Feb. 9 through Feb. 25, so you can celebrate Valentine’s Day at your leisure.

 

Spice Up the Night with Divine Chocolates and Wines

When many people think of romance, they also think of delicate chocolates. If this decadent treat is high on your list, you won’t want to miss the Chocolate and Wine Experience at 4.0 Cellars. Reservations are required for this special event, which costs $35 per person. The private event, offering chocolate truffles and wine pairings by expert Cathy Locke, runs throughout the month. This Texas Hill Country Winery also offers a Paint & Sip Party – Love You to the Moon, for an evening of wine and painting from 6 – 8 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 15. Guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and cheese reception, with tickets going for $40.

 

Enjoy a Special “Reserve Tasting” on Valentine’s Day

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, you can join Inwood Estates Winery & Bistro for great eats and a special “Reserve Tasting.” This event, which will add to the romance on Valentine’s Day, offers a “reserve tasting” of seven all-Texas wines. The event will also include great food, including slow-cooked pulled pork and smoked beef sausage plates; as well as gourmet meat and cheese boards, with other salads and snacks. The “Reserve Tasting” is $15, and it offers an educational tasting experience that’s ideal for couples or friends.

 

Wine and Dine with a Romantic Three-Course Meal

Treat your Valentine to a unique wine and food experience at Flat Creek Estate. Limited to six couples, the Valentine Wine & Dine at The Vineyard includes a private barrel tasting with Founder Rick Naber in the afternoon. After the tasting, romantic partners will enjoy a three-course paired wine lunch in an intimate setting in The Bistro. From kale Caesar salad, red berry salad and bruschetta, to the entrée of braised beef shoulder and shrimp scampi, to the wood-fired filet and dessert, you can’t go wrong with this indulgent meal. The romantic event is available every Friday and Saturday in February, at the price of $75 per person.
