9 am- Introduction
9:15 am- Needed Expertise: grapevine anatomy, initial vineyard management, pest management, labor needs, accounting & bookkeeping, marketing, variety & rootstock
10:15 am- Site Selection: vineyard location, water quality & availability, soil characteristics, vineyard topography, climate, affect of soil selection on insect & disease risk, site infrastructure
11:15 am- Vineyard Risk Factors: weather, underestimation of labor inputs, diseases, insects & other invertebrate pests, vertebrate pests
12:15 pm- Lunch
1 pm - Vineyard Labor Requirements: vineyard establishment, production & management
2 pm - Vineyard Economics: vineyard cost assessments
3 pm - Conclusion & Discussion
